As you may or may not know, Aviva - the company that holds our exterior warranty policy - was asked to evaluate the outstanding items that we (as residents) noticed the developer hadn't completed. An Aviva rep, Tony and a strata representative completed a walk through of the complex. All of the outstanding issues from the exterior deficiency list were discussed.
A lot of the items on the list did not qualify for warranty under our policy.
The following items are not covered at all :
- anything that is not permanently afixed to the main structure (ie. concrete patios)
- any issues that are strictly cosmetic and do not affect the normal function of the product

The items in the report are the
ONLY ITEMS that Tony is required to complete.
He has until Mid-May to complete them.
All other items from the original list do not qualify for warranty.
